Meet Us

Your Premier Santa Rosa Dentist

Dr. Robert S. Gilbaugh

After graduating from the University of Nebraska, I packed and quickly moved west to the Bay Area. In 1986, I opened my first dentist practice in Santa Rosa and then moved to my current location in 1995 which allowed me to create a more intimate type family cosmetic practice with emphasis on personalized care. My philosophy is to create a safe and comfortable environment for my patients. This enables you to relax and feel pampered while having your dental work completed. My goal is to create a positive experience for every patient at every visit. I am a member of the ADA, CDA and the Redwood Empire Dental Society.

You may also see me out and about hiking, kayaking, swing dancing and photographing our beautiful surroundings as well as incinerating perfectly good food in an outdoor setting. A smile on my patients face when they leave is the biggest compliment for me.

Ilene Reeve, Office Manager

Originally, a native of NY, I started in the dental field during my High School years. In 1976, I moved to CA and earned my degree as a Registered Dental Assistant. I practiced as an RDA for many years until I received the opportunity to move to the front office and manage the office. I feel my people skills and organizational skills are some of my most positive traits. I will be the one you speak to when you call the office as well as the one you can depend on to see that your insurance claims and billing are handled. In 2002, I came on board with Dr. Gilbaugh and have found my home away from home. I am grateful to work with such wonderful, caring people and take great pride in helping to create a positive experience for my patients. I feel it is very important to stay fit, which involves many activities outside of work. I have been Swing Dancing for years, as well as kayaking, hiking and daily visits to the gym. You may find me out in the community volunteering with the Redwood Empire Food Bank, and I am also involved with Greyhound Adoption and have three beautiful ex racers at home. One of my dogs is a social therapy dog and I am fortunate to be able to make a difference in the lives of people who are in the hospital with dog visits.

Wyvonne Colombo, Registered Dental Hygienist

Born at Memorial Hospital, I am proud to call myself a Santa Rosa native and am a Montgomery High School alumni. In 1983, I ventured to Contra Costa County, attended Diablo Valley College, and earned my degree in Business and Dental Hygiene. Since moving back to Santa Rosa in 1994 to raise my daughter, Lauren, my family has grown. My husband, David, three stepchildren, Jennifer (who is also a hygienist), Christina and Brandon, two dogs, and two cats complete my family. In May of 1995, Dr. Gilbaugh moved into his new Santa Rosa dentist office and hired me. It was the beginning of a great partnership. Working collaboratively with a dentist in Santa Rosa allows me to help our patients attain their optimum dental health. My goal is for our patients to keep their teeth their entire lives. Every year I attend different Periodontal and Hygiene meetings which educates me on the latest techniques and products. Besides work and family, I enjoy singing in the “One Heart Choir” at my church, learning about interior design and traveling.

Jennifer Colombo, Registered Dental Hygienist

Although I currently reside in Petaluma, I was born and raised in Santa Rosa. In High School, I worked for Dr. Gilbaugh as an office assistant and am glad to be back as a Dental Hygienist. I graduated Santa Rosa Junior College with my A.S. in Dental Hygiene in 2006. I received my B.S. in Dental Hygiene from OIT and am currently attending UOP to receive an extended RDHAP license. In my professional career, I have worked in both private practice and in public health dental settings and love the diverse population of patients I have had the pleasure to treat over the years. My philosophy as a hygienist is to be gentle yet thorough and to make my patients as comfortable as possible. I am a member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association, California Dental Hygienists’ Association and am President of the local Redwood Dental Hygienists’ Association for 2010 – 2011. I pride myself in being current with the latest dental technologies and passing the information I learn on to my patients. When I’m not working or spending time with family you can find me working on my house and yard, running, or spending time with my two dogs outdoors.

Sylvia Blue, Registered Dental Assistant

I am one of the fortuante who was born and raised in Santa Rosa. After High School I attended beauty college and loved making my clients feel beautiful. However, my strong desire to help others in healthcare sent me back to school and a change of careers. Over 15 years in the dental field, I have worked in several areas of dentistry providing well rounded experience that I bring to Dr. Bob Gilbaugh’s Santa Rosa dentist office. I love working directly with patients and am thankful to work alongside Dr. Gilbaugh as his Registered Dental Assistant. My goal is to make every patient comfortable during their dental appointment. I will explain every procedure to you as we go so there are no surprises and I want you to rest assured that your concerns are treated with respect and consideration. On my days off, I enjoy time with family and friends, cooking, reading, staying active, crafting and shopping.
